ABOUT THE FARM
Our Story
Stoney Lonesome is a family-owned and operated farm located in Gainesville, Va., thirty-five miles west of Washington D.C. As a blend of gardens, pasture, forest and ponds this land provides an ideal setting for diversified food production.
We believe in a sustainable approach to farming; we use crop diversity, rotation, and composting techniques to enhance and enrich our soil. We do not use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.
